Every plate carrier, chest rig and pouch that we import across the Warrior Assault range comes in the same four colourways — Black, Coyote Tan, Ranger Green and MultiCam. Here's guidance on where each performs best.

Multi-Environment

MultiCam

Licensed under Crye Precision (US). Effective across transitional, mixed and varied terrain — bushveld, scrubland, farmland — where a single fixed colour would compromise concealment. The right default if you operate across multiple environments rather than one fixed one.

Favoured among military enthusiasts, the South African farming community, anti-poaching units, and buyers drawn to the pattern's distinctive look.

Arid & Open Terrain

Coyote Tan

Best suited to arid, desert and sandy terrain, where its lighter tan tone blends with dry, open ground. A strong choice for Karoo-type terrain, open bushveld in dry season, or any environment where vegetation cover is sparse.

Favoured among private security contractors working in hostile environments, the South African farming community, and buyers who want the closest thing to a military-style colour without running a printed camouflage pattern.

Woodland & Bushveld

Ranger Green

Suited to woodland, dense vegetation and temperate bushveld environments, where its darker green tone blends into foliage and shadow. The natural pick for greener, more vegetated terrain than Coyote Tan suits.

Favoured among anti-poaching operators working in greener terrain, and rapidly becoming one of our best-selling alternatives to Black among urban buyers.

Urban & Low-Light

Black

Less about terrain camouflage, more about disappearing under dark clothing or blending into shadow. The standard choice for plainclothes, urban covert use, nighttime operations, and maritime/CQB roles where a solid dark tone matters more than a printed pattern.

Favoured among those living in urban environments, and by CPF neighbourhood watch and community response groups who don't want their equipment drawing unwanted attention.

All Four NIR Treated

Every colourway across the Warrior range is NIR (near-infrared) treated or compatible, reducing glare and detection when viewed through night vision devices. This is a genuine operational feature, not just a daylight pattern — the colour you choose affects low-light performance too, not only how it looks in daylight. Note: the Black range does not pass through the NIR treatment process itself, but its dark tone naturally lends itself to this same advantage.
